For a moment I lost all the images on this site.  This led me to 
pondering the second of the buddhist 'four noble truths'

'2. the truth of the origin (samudâya) of suffering: 
   The cause of suffering is the desire (icçhâ),    
   craving (tanhâ) or thirst (trishnâ) for sensual  
   pleasures, for existence and experience, for     
   worldly possessions and power. This craving binds 
   one to the wheel of rebirth, saµsâra. '

Infact this goes way beyond what i thought it did.  Not only should i not 
cling on to things such as .jpg files, but... i dunno, is a website a 
'worldly possession'?  Is a thirst for knowledge the same as a 'thirst 
for existence and experience'? If i relinquish my desire for existence 
and experience, what do i have left? I sit under a tree in the wilderness 
with a smile on my face. and thats it.hmm

Buddhism used to be my favorite religion [hm sounds like a 'my favorite 
colour'. a bit different] .. until i found out that it belives 
disabled people are that way because they did something wrong in a past 
life. Plus it is pretty depressing and empty.


I need religion because 'The End Is Nigh!'. war is coming. we must be eco
friendly, but even that wont stop war.[is it best to plug your ears and
not think about it?]
Faith scares me. Closed minded and willing to kill you if thats what they 
think their god would have wanted.
The answer is Technoshamanism.  That way, when people get fundamentalist they just 
stay at home and have sex with their laptop. i think.
