If Rooney hadnt been injured we would 
have won before 90mins.  As it was, 
Portugal were the better team - helped by 
some doubtful descisions from the swiss 
referee!



I admire the way the Portuguese took the 
penalties.  The English team is more 
likable because we always, always, always 
get nervous in those situations.  It's 
then that continental cockyness is 
needed.


oh well.  

Now Portugal are the only 'old enemies' 
left in the tournament.  I dont include 
France because i have been to france and 
know some nice french people and most of 
their players are from the premiership 
and i like zidane.

germany gone, italy gone, spain gone.
Good, good, good.

I will support anyone who plays against 
Portugal.  Apart from that, im just 
looking forward to see who comes out on 
top.

if sven stays with us and we keep this 
squad, we will be likely to win the world 
cup in 2006.
