.I dreamt this video 2 months ago!
wow.  A few months ago I was listening to The Mars Volta,
thinking how much I liked their song 'Televators'.
I fell asleep dreaming how i would make a video for it
and how it would be set in some amazonian jungle with
light seeping through the canopy.
Ive just discovered that they chose Televators as the
next single and that they made my idea for the video!

I would have done the intro by following a leaf
spiralling down from canopy to jungle floor. but they
didnt.  The plot is a bit too willfully hard to follow.
moose materialise then explode and the cute monkey has
a mid air epileptic fit. the baisis is my idea so the
video is still good.

Last night there was a fight on the street outside my 
room. I told my roommate.  He peers out the window 
'cool, good effort'.  I find fights really disturbing. 
Maybe even the participants will laugh about it in the 
morning, but not me.  Aggression 'ill fucking kill you' 
bleeding noses shouting hatred.  Its evil.

14 yrs; Cooper cornered in the playground, surrounded by 
30 strong crowd. ugly jeering and writhing on floor. 
other kid's older brother steps in and kicks Cooper in 
the head.

15 yrs; fight arranged in buspark after school. strange 
atmosphere. boys in hooded tops lurking around. both 
combatants turn up. watching i felt adrenaline.

17 yrs; approached while waiting at a bus stop w/ 
friend. They punched us in the face while we were still 
sitting down without saying a word. they came back 
again. broken nose.

17 yrs; outside school one boy surrounded by guys from 
the other school. right in the middle of the busy path. 
punching him in the head. EVERONE WALKS BY AS IF NOTHING 
IS HAPPENING. me too.

18 yrs; midnight from top of dorm block in China. 50 
students some carrying baseball bats run through 
deserted campus.  We hear shouting in the distance for 
the next half hour.

19 yrs; 4 women in shopping center. They're in their 
20s, walking together holding shopping bags.  One upsets 
another. pulling hair, punching. they're not drunk its 
the middle of the day in the empty echoing part of 
shopping center, everything dusty white. one gets 
dragged to the ground by her hair. no one intervenes.
